Distribution; world
Central and southern Europe, ranging from Holland (F.K. Stöckhert, 1933) and Poland (Grunwaldt, 1976), south to the Mediterranean area (Grunwaldt, 1976), and east to Czechoslovakia (Kocourek (1966)). Sparsely distributed in mid Europe. Widespread in North Africa, from Morocco to Libya.
