Northern Europe where it is a Swedish speciality. It has not been reported elsewhere in Europe. The only remaining occurrence is on the island of Gotland. According to Banaszak & Romasenko (1998) the species also occurs in the Russian far east, but this has not really been confirmed by comparison as far as I know. (L.A. Nilsson, in litt.):
