Highly scattered sporadic localities in northern and central Europe, eastwards to the Caucasus and south west Asia (Noskiewicz 1936; Moeschler 1938; Osytshnyuk 1970):

In the western part of the range, most records
dated the beginning of 20th century. The last record was almost fifty years old from Poland (in 1956 - Noskiewicz 1959). New data are absent in Germany (Dathe et al.2001) and in Poland (Banaszak 1991).
