Distribution; world
The species is very widely distributed throughout most of Europe, the Middle East, Turkey, the Caucasus, north-western Africa (Koster, 1986), and Iran (D.B. Baker, pers. comm.). In addition, it has also been recorded [as Hylaeus perforator] from Japan (Tadauchi in Hirashima et al., 1989).
