Renter: Existing cavities. The females appropriate vacated bee nests in the soil, empty snail shells, hollow stems, cavities in dead wood and trap-nests. The nests are linear in construction, with the cells and closure plug made of leaf fragments (Banaszak & Romasenko, 1989; Stanisavljević, 2000).
