Renter: Snail shells. Nests are constructed in the shells of dead snail of the genus Cepaea. Cell partitions of resin (Gogala, 1999).
Mavromoustakis (1948) observed a female in Cyprus collecting resin from the trunks of Pinus halepensis (Pinaceae). He noted nesting in snail shells of Eobania vermiculata, Levantina bellardi and Levantina cypria.
