Andrena (Chlorandrena) humilis IMHOFF, 1832

Excavator: Ground. Nesting aggregations are usually small and compact, but occasionally may be of enormous size in hard-trodden pathways (R.C.L. Perkins, 1919g). The species seems to overwinter as a diapausing adult within its natal cell (such an adult has been excavated during mid January).

In Czechoslovakia, nest depths are reported to vary between 12-23 cm (Kocourek, 1966).
