Anthidium (Anthidium) punctatum Latreille, 1809

Renter: Existing cavities: nests in crevices in the ground and between rocks. The cell partitions are made of cottony plant hair collected from Verbascum (Scrophulariaceae); Onopordum, Helichrysum and Antennaria dioica (Asteraceae). The nest entrance is sealed with a plug of plant hairs, small stones, earth particles or moss fragments (Westrich, 1989).

Nest sites are in sandy soil. Nests are linear, cells are oval, and constructed of plant hair mixed with sand and wood particles.In each nest, there are usually 1-3 cells (Stanisavljević, 2000)
