Andrena (Cnemiandrena) fuscipes (KIRBY, 1802)

Excavator: Ground. The species occasionally nests in large, compact aggregations (R.C.L. Perkins, 1919g); most burrows are probably scattered about in ones and twos, but nests are generally difficult to find.

On the Continent, Kocourek (1966) and Dylewska (1987) consider the species to be a solitary nester.
