Excavator: Stems. In Tunisia, Daly (1983) collected nests of this species in the stems of Rubus ulmifolius and other herbaceous plants in the humid, sub-humid and semi-arid zones.
In Morocco, Terzo also observed nests of this species in the stems of Rosa. (Terzo, 2000).
