Cleptoparasitic: Host; unknown (both in the Channel Islands and elsewhere in Europe), though F.K. Stöckhert (1954) recorded the species with Andrena anthrisci, a bee not known from the Channel Islands.
Celary (1995) and Celary & Wisniowski (2001) state that the host is Andrena semilaevis in Poland. Smit (2018)(citing Amiet et al, 2007) additionally lists Andrena alfkenella as a possible host
