Cleptoparasitic: Hosts; Andrena praecox (e.g. R.C.L. Perkins, 1919g; Chambers, 1949; Smit, 2018) and perhaps A. varians (Chambers, 1949). Individuals have been observed flying low over dead leaf litter in partial shade, presumably searching for their host's nesting burrows (J. Lewis collection notes, Leckford, Hampshire; and G.R. Else pers. obs.).
