Megachile (Chalicodoma) roeweri Alfken, 1927

Renter: Existing cavities/Mason. The bee nests in small, shallow hollows, typically with a round entrance. The nests are either among stones on the ground or on the rocks found at the upper slopes of steep coastal cliffs.

The nest entrance is sealed with leaf mastic from Pistacia sp. and is additionally covered with another layer made from very small pebbles cemented together with leaf mastiv (Mavromoustakis, 1948)
