Excavator: Ground. This species usually nests solitarily (Kocourek, 1966, cited as Andrena fulvata, now treated as a synonym of A. angustior), but R.C.L. Perkins (1919g) observed a compact nesting aggregation in the face of a vertical cutting in a roadside bank.
