Cleptoparasitic: Hosts; Andrena nigroaenea, (R.C.L. Perkins, 1919g, 1923, 1924; Stelfox, 1927; G.M. Spooner, 1931. No doubt the commonest host), A. thoracica (R.C.L. Perkins, 1919, 1923), A. nitida (Chambers, 1949; Yarrow, 1941b), A. scotica [as A. jacobi] (Chambers, 1949) and A. A. pilipes (Spooner, pers. comm.). In Devon, females of this Nomada were observed flying around the nest burrows of a small aggregation of A. cineraria (G.M. Spooner and pers. obs.). This Nomada has also been seen inspecting the nest burrows of the spring brood of Andrena trimmerana on the Hampshire coast (S.P.M. Roberts, pers. obs.).
German authors also cite A. tibialis as a possible host (Smit, 2018)
Celary (1995) cites Andrena nitida, Andrena nigroaenea and Andrena curvungula as hosts.
