Excavator: Ground. The females nest in cavities in the soil (1.5-3cm deep) with one cell (occasionally up to 4-10 cells) at the end

Nesting material: The cell partitions and walls are constructed of plant mastic (e.g. from Oenothera, Viola) and minute pebbles, glued together with saliva. (Banaszak & Romasenko).
