Renter: Existing cavities. The species is known to nest in hollow dry stems and flower heads of Allium sp. and Echinops sp. The brood cells are constructed of pieces of leaves of Rubus. The nest is linear in construction. The cells areconstructed from leaf fragments. There are from 1-15 cells in a completed nest. (Banaszak & Romasenko,1989; Stanisavljević, 2000)
