Excavator: Ground and Renter: Existing cavities. The nests are constructed in the ground or under stones, occasionally in hollow plant stems. The cells are made of cut leaf sections of leaves of Betula (Betulaceae); Rosa (Rosaceae); and Robinia (Fabaceae).
