Renter: Existing cavities. Nests in a variety of existing cavities: These include abandoned nests of wasps in the genus Diodontus, and of bees in the genus Lasioglossum in sandy banks, in vacated cocoons of the bee Megachile rotundata, in dead dry Rubus stems, old beetle larval burrows in old wood and in artificial sites such as paper drinking straws and bore holes in wood.
