Cleptoparasitic: Hosts; Colletes halophilus is cited as a host in the Netherlands, Belgium and northern France (Jacobusse, pers. comm.; Scheuchl, 2000).
In central Europe, the species was known to parasitize the nests of C. collaris (Bogusch & Hadrava, 2018)
