Cleptoparasitic: Hosts Colletes nasutus is the host of this species (Friese, 2923; Celary, 1990, Bogusch, 2003; Westrich 2018). Bogusch (2003) also lists Colletes graeffei as a possible host (he cites no source).
Bogusch & Hadrava (2018) state that Colletes nasutus is the confirmed host (Scheuchl 2000), but Bogusch (2003) found this species at a locality in Slovakia where C. nasutus does not occur, but where Colletes graeffei is very common.
