Cleptoparasitic: Hosts; A probable cleptoparasite of several small Halictinae: Halictus tumulorum (Stelfox, 1927), Lasioglossum nitidiusculum (Stelfox, 1927; Hallett,1928; G.M. Spooner, pers. comm.), L. parvulum (G.M. Spooner, pers. comm.), L. rufitarse (Butterfield & Fordham, 1932), L. villosulum (Stelfox, 1927), L. leucopus (F.K. Stöckhert , 1933), L. morio (G.M.Spooner, pers. comm.). Specimens have also been excavated from a mixed nesting aggregation of L. parvulum and L. nitidiusculum (R.C.L. Perkins, 1923). On the Dorset coast, G.M. Spooner (pers. comm.) has observed examples associating with L. villosulum and L. angusticeps (Else & Edwards, 2018).
Celary (1991) lists the following species as possible hosts: Lasioglossum fulvicorne, L. fratellum, L. morio, L. leucopus and L. nitidiusculum.
