Colletes impunctatus NYLANDER, 1852

Polylectic with strong preference for Fabaceae. However, the only known pollen source is Trifolium repens (Fabaceae).

Müller & Kuhlmann (2008) list as pollen sources: Fabaceae, Crassulaceae, Saxifragaceae, Ericaceae, Brassicaceae, Cistaceae, Campanulaceae, Caryophyllaceae various Monocots, and Cichorioideae (Asteraceae) based on 37 pollen loads from 31 different localities.

There is a record of the bee visiting Euphrasia officinalis (Scrophulariaceae) in Finland (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003). The Dutch bee group of NEV also suggest that the bee will visit Jasione montana (Campanulaceae).

Pawlikowski & Celary (2003) list the following forage sources in Poland: Trifolium repens (Fabaceae); Achillea millefolium (Asteraceae)
