Polylectic with strong preference for Reseda (Resedaceae). Müller & Kuhlmann (2008) list the following pollen sources: Resedaceae, Apiaceae, Fabaceae, Cistaceae, Crassulaceae and Rosaceae based on 34 pollen samples from 28 different localities.
In Spain it is reported to visit Cistaceae (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004), and in the Balearic Islands, Baldock et al. (in prep.) report visitation to Reseda lutea (Resedaceae)
