As this is a cleptoparasitic species, all flower visits will be for nectar only.
Celary (1995) lists the following nectar forage plants: Brassica napus, Sinapis alba, Berteroa incana (Brassicaceae); Potentilla reptans (Rosaceae); Vicia sp. (Fabaceae); Eryngium sp. (Apiaceae); Knautia arvensis (Dipsacaceae); Senecio vulgaris, Senecio vernalis, Senecio jacobaea, Taraxacum officinale, Hieracium pilosella (Asteraceae).
Smit (2004), citing Vegter (1977) lists Trifolium repens (Fabaceae) as a nectar source.
Mavromoustakis (1955) lists Eryngium creticum (Apiaceae) as a nectar source in Cyprus. Mavromoustakis called this taxon Nomada cinnabarina cypriaca.
