Broadly polylectic: The following plant species are listed for Germany: Aegopodium podagraria, Heracleum sphondylium (Apiaceae), Tanacetum vulgare, Tripleurospermum inodorum, Centaurea jacea, Leontodon autumnalis (Asteraceae), Echium vulgare (Boraginaceae), Berteroa incana (Brassicaceae), Jasione montana (Campanulaceae), Sedum sp. (Crassulaceae), Potentilla reptans (Rosaceae), Oreganum vulgare (Lamiaceae). (Westrich, 1989).
In Spain, it is reported to visit plants in the families: Resedaceae, Fabaceae, Apiaceae, Lamiaceae, Dipsacaceae and Asteraceae. (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004).
Levchenko (2009) lists the following as forage sources in the Moscow region of Russia: Potentilla argentea (Rosaceae); Seseli libanotis (Apiaceae); Hypericum perforatum (Hypericaceae); Berteroa incana (Brassicaceae); Melilotus officinalis (Fabaceae); Tanacetum vulgare (Asteraceae).
