Hylaeus (Hylaeus) difformis (EVERSMANN, 1852)

Polylectic: Analysed pollen loads contained pollen from a number of different plant species: Solidago canadensis (Asteraceae), Echium vulgare (Boraginaceae), Campanula rotundifolia, (Campanulaceae), Salvia verticillata (Lamiaceae), Rubus fruticosus (Rosaceae). Females have also been found on: Brassica sp. (Brassicaceae), Sedum reflexum (Crassulaceae) and Allium sp. (Liliaceae)(Westrich, 1989)

A specimen was caught in the Netherlands in 1975 at flowers of Frangula alnus (Rhamnaceae).

There are no flower records for the subspecies H. difformis hispanicus
