Oligolectic: Asteraceae. The following species are known as pollen sources: Tanacetum vulgare, Leucanthemum vulgare, Anthemis tinctoria, Achillea millefolium, Achillea filipendulina. Other species that are visited include: Tripleurospermum inodorum, Anthemis arvensis, Solidago canadensis and Centaurea scabiosa. (Westrich, 1989).
Pekkarinen (1998) lists plants in the following genera of Asteraceae as pollen sources: Achillea, Leucanthemum and Centaurea.
In Spain, the species is reported to visit plants in the families: Resedaceae, Rosaceae, Apiaceae, Lamiaceae, Campanulaceae and Asteraceae. (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004)
