Polylectic, visiting mainly Eryngium (Apiaceae) (Muller, 1996; Gogala, 1999).
Pollen analysis (Muller, 1996) revealed the following pollen sources: Ranunculaceae, Brassicaceae, Resedaceae, Crassulaceae, Fabaceae, Cistaceae, Apiaceae, Boraginaceae, Lamiaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Dipsacaceae, Campanulaceae and Asteraceae
