The species is polylectic visiting Prunus (Rosaceae) and Salix (Salicaceae) in spring, Inula (Asteraceae) and Daucus (Apiaceae) in June (Ducke, 1898). Gogala (2009) reports on Prunus mahaleb (Rosaceae) as a forage source. Petanidou (1984) reports visitation to Lepidium (=Cardaria) draba (Brassicaceae) in Attiki (Greece)
