Lasioglossum (Hemihalictus) brevicorne (Schenck, 1870)

Pollen sources not known in Britain. Reseda lutea (Resedaceae)and Hypochoeris radicata (Asteraceae)(E. Saunders, 1907; S.P.M. Roberts, pers comm.) seem to be the only British flower records.

In Germany females of this bee have been seen collecting pollen from species in the family Asteraceae (Hieracium pilosella, Taraxacum officinale, Leontodon autumnalis) (Westrich, 1989).
