Flowers visited Jasione montana (Campanulaceae); Senecio jacobaea and Achillea millefolium (Asteraceae).

In Germany, most usually flound nectaring at flowers in the Asteraceae (Westrich, 1989).

Celary (1995) lists the following nectar sources in Poland: Heracleum sphondylium (Apiaceae); Thymus sp. (Lamiaceae); Scabiosa ochroleuca (Dipsacaceae); Jasione montana (Campanulaceae); Achillea millefolium, Leucanthemum vulgare, Solidago virgaurea, Cirsium arvense, Centaurea sp., Leontodon autumnalis, Picris hieracioides, Senecio jacobaea, Crepis sp., Hieracium umbellatum (Asteraceae)

Smit (2004) lists only Jasione montana (Campanulaceae) as a nectar source in the Netherlands
