Nomada succincta PANZER, 1798

As this is a cleptoparasitic species, all flower visits will be for nectar only.

On the Channel Islands, it has been collected from the flowers of Silene maritima (Caryophyllaceae); Hypochoeris radicata, and Sonchus oleraceus (Asteraceae)(Else & Edwards, 2018). In Germany, it has been reported to visit Salix (Salicaceae); Taraxacum officinale (Asteraceae); and Frangula alnus (Rhamnaceae)(Westrich 1989).

Smit (2004), citing others, lists the following nectar sources: Taraxacum officinale (Asteraceae); Rubus sp. (Rosaceae); Barbarea vulgaris (Brassicaceae).
