Details of the lectic status are lacking, although it is probably polylectic. Mavromoustakis (1948; 1951) reports the following forage sources in Cyprus: Limonium (=Statice) sinuata (Plumbaginaceae); Cistus villosus (Cistaceae); Anchusa sp., Echium sericeum, Onosma fruticosa (Boraginaceae); Trifolium sp., Calycotome villosa, Vicia cracca elegans (Fabaceae); Calendula persica, Achillea santolina, Centaurea hyalolepis (Asteraceae); Fumaria sp. (Fumariaceae); Asphodelus ramosus (Asphodelaceae); Lamium amplexicauli (Lamiaceae) and Erodium sp. (Geraniaceae).

Label data from specimens caught by C. O'Toole and S. Roberts in Israel record visitation to Lathyrus blepharicarpus, Medicago polymorpha (Fabaceae); Lamium moschatum (Lamiaceae); Alkanna strigosa. Echium angustifolium. Anchusa undulatum (Boraginaceae); Asphodelus fistulosus (Asphodelaceae).

Known to visit the Orchid Ophrys umbilicata (Orchidaceae)(Gaskett 2011).
