Megachile (Chalicodoma) sicula Rossi, 1792

Presumed to be polylectic (Baldock et al, 2018)

Males have been found sleeping inside flowers Iris atropurpurea (Iridaceae) and females observed visiting Ononis pubescens (Fabaceae) in Israƫl. (N.J. Vereecken, pers. comm)

Tomozii (in litt.) reports a female visiting Antirrhinum siculum (Plantaginaceae) in Malta. Reported to visit Antirrhinum charidemi (Plantaginaceae) in Spain, and Sulla coronaria and Lotus edulis (Fabaceae) in the Balearic Islands (Ortiz-Sanchez et al., 2012).
