Presumed to be polylectic, although details of the lectic status of this species are not known. Ebmer (1969) lists Potentilla (Rosaceae) and Centaurea (Asteraceae) as forage sources.

Grace (2010) lists Coridothymus capitatus (Lamiaceae) and Lythrum salicariae (Lythraceae) as forage sources on Lesvos.

Mavromoustakis (1948; 1952) reports Anthemis sp., Calendula persica (Asteraceae); Teucrium polium micropodioides (Lamiaceae) as forage sources in Limassol, Cyprus
