Anthidium (Anthidium) septemspinosum LEPELETIER, 1841

Polylectic: visiting mainly Lamiaceae and Fabaceae. Pollen analysis (Muller, 1996) revealed the following pollen sources: Fabaceae, Lamiaceae, Crassulaceae, Rosaceae, Lythraceae, Scrophulariaceae and Asteraceae.

Gogala (1999) reports seeing the species foraging exclusively on Vicia sp. (Fabaceae).

Stanisavljević (2000), copying Banaszak & Romasenko (1998) lists the following plants as forage sources: Phlomis tuberosa (Lamiaceae); Centaurea jacea (Asteraceae); Lythrum salicaria (Lythraceae).
