Pawlikowski & Kruszynski (1997) list Vaccinium myrtillus (Ericaceae) as a forage source in Poland
Tomozei (2014), citing others, states that this species will visit flowers of Taraxacum, Tussilago, Hieracium (Asteraceae); Berberis vulgaris (Berberidaceae); Stellaria media (Caryophyllaceae); Ribes (Grossulariaceae); Paeonia (Paeoniaceae); Anemone (Ranunculaceae); Crataegus, Fragaria, Prunus, Rosa (Rosaceae) and Salix (Salicaceae).
It is known as one of the main pollinators of apple, cherry, gooseberry and blackcurrant in the Kiev region, Ukraine (Osytshnjuk 1977, Dylewska 1987).
