Probably polylectic: Flower records from the Netherlands are of Jasione montana (Campanulaceae), Potentilla argentea and Rubus sp. (Rosaceae)(Peeters, Raemakers & Smit, 1999).

Celary (1999) lists the following plants as forage sources in Poland: Daucus carota, Peucedanum cervaria (Apiaceae); Achillea millefolia (Asteraceae); Reseda lutea (Resedaceae); Potentilla argentea (Rosaceae). Celary & Wisniowski (2001) additionally list Angelica sylvestris and Heracleum sphondylium (Apiaceae).

In Spain, it is reported to visit plants in the families: Polygonaceae, Resedaceae, Rosaceae, Cistaceae, Tamaricaceae, Apiaceae, Lamiaceae, and Asteraceae. (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004)
