Unknown. In Israel, commonly found at Brassicaceae.

In Cyprus, Mavromoustakis (1948; 1951; 1952) reports Cistus villosus creticus (Cistaceae); Eryngium creticum, Ferula communis anatriches (Apiaceae), Allium (Alliaceae), Teucrium sp., Marrubium vulgare (Lamiaceae) as forage sources.

Kemp et al (2013), citing others (Osytshnjuk et al. 2008), list records of specimens foraging on Asteraceae, Brassicaceae, Rosaceae and Tamaricaceae. The species is a pollinator of Cucumis melo (Cucurbitaceae) and various vegetables.
