Andrena (Suandrena) suerinensis FRIESE, 1884

Oligolectic on Brassicaceae.

The species will fly to Sinapis arvensis, Raphanus raphanistrum, Sisymbrium sp. (Brassicaceae) and also (presumably for nectar) to Taraxacum officinale, Hieracium pilosella (Asteraceae); Ranunculus polyanthemos (Ranunculaceae)(Dylewska, 1987).

Westrich lists the following pollen sources in Germany: Brassica napus, Brassica rapa, Sinapis arvensis, Raphanus raphanistrum, Cardaria draba, Thlaspi arvense and Sisymbrium orientale (Brassicaceae).

Tomozei & Radchenko (2015), citing others, state that it is considered to be oligolectic specifically on Brassicaceae (Schmid-Egger and Scheuchl 1997). It is considered to be one of the most important pollinators of oilseeds. The females visit flowers of Brassicaceae (Raphanus raphanistrum, Sisymbrium), but also flowers of Asteraceae (Taraxacum officinale, Hieracium pilosella); Rosaceae (Crataegus) and Ranunculaceae (Ranunculus polyanthemus). The males have been found on Senecio vernalis, Sinapis arvensis, Taraxacum officinale, and Tragopogon pratensis (Monsevičius 1995).
