Andrena (Micrandrena) simontornyella Noskiewicz, 1939

The species is polylectic, in that it prefers to forage upon a wide range of flowering plants species. Flower visitation is reported from Veronica (Plantaginaceae) and Linum (Linaceae) by Pittioni et al. (2014). Ornithogalum (Asparagaceae); Galium (Rubiaceae); Helianthemum (Cistaceae) and Orlaya grandiflora (Apiaceae) are described as pollen sources by Westrich (2010).

Dardón Peralta (2010), citing others, reports visitiation to Anthriscus sylvestris (Apiaceae); Taraxacum erythrospermum (Asteraceae); Euphorbia polychrome (Euphorbiaceae).
