Polylectic. The following species are known pollen sources: Achillea millefolia, Leucanthemum vulgare, Centaurea jacea (Asteraceae); Brassica napus (Brassicaceae); Cornus sanguinea (Cornaceae); Knautia arvensis (Dipsacaceae); Trifolium pratense, Trifolium repens, Vicia villosa (Fabaceae) (Westrich, 1989).

Elsewhere in Europe, Dylewska 1987) lists the following resources: Trifolium sp., Vicia sp. (Fabaceae); Crataegus oxyacantha, Potentilla verna, Rubus idaeus (Rosaceae); Cornus sp. (Cornaceae); Taraxacum officinale, Hieracium sp., Chrysanthemum leucanthemum (Asteraceae); Ranunculus sp. (Ranunculaceae); Anchusa officinalis (Boraginaceae); Acer sp. (Aceraceae); Rorippa (Brassicaceae); Frangula alnus (Rhamnaceae); Thymus sp. (Lamiaceae); Veronica chamaedrys (Scrophulariaceae).

Radchenko (2015), citing others, states that he females are known to collect pollen from different plant families: Asteraceae, Lamiaceae, Brassicaceae, Rosaceae, Ranunculaceae, and preferably Fabaceae (Ponomareva 1960, 1967, Warncke 1966a, Osytshnjuk 1977).
