Polylectic: Westrich (1990) considers this species to be polylectic, in that it prefers to forage upon a wide range of flowering plants species, but in most regions the females mainly collect pollen fromAlyssum(Brassicaceae), although they rarely visit Asteraceae, Cistaceae, Fabaceae and Rosaceae.
