Andrena (Thysandrena) ranunculorum MORAWITZ, 1878

It is probably oligolectic, with a preference for cruciferous plants (Brassicaceae), but it has also been found on Rosaceae, Apiaceae, Asteraceae, Ranunculaceae and Cistaceae (unpublished data Osytshnjuk, V. Radchenko pers. comm. 2014). In Turkey and Italy, A. ranunculorum is narrowly oligolectic on Brassicaceae, preferring yellow flowering species (E. Scheuchl pers. comm. 2014; Radchenko, 2015).

It has been recorded as a pollinator of fruit trees
