An oligolectic species, specialising in Asteraceae pollen (Scheuchl, in prep.) . Scheuchl lists Taraxacum and Crepis (Asteraceae) as forage plants. The species has been found exclusively on yellow Cichorioideae (Asteraceae) in Spain (E. Scheuchl pers. comm. 2014)
