Andrena (Taeniandrena) intermedia THOMSON, 1870

Oligolectic: Fabaceae (Pesenko in Banaszak, 1995)

Pekkarinen (1998) lists the following genera as pollen sources of this oligolectic species in Finland: Anthyllis, Astragalus, Lathyrus, Medicago, Trifolium and Vicia (Fabaceae). Söderman & Leinonen (2003), also discussing the lectic status of this bee in Finland, regard the species as polylectic, with flower records from Trifolium repens, Anthyllis vulneraria (Fabaceae) and Tanacetum vulgare (Asteraceae).

Celary & Wisniowski (2003) additionally list Symphytum officinale (Boraginaceae) and Asteraceae as forage plants.

Kemp et al (2014) state that females of Andrena intermedia collect pollen on Fabaceae only (e.g., Trifolium sp., Genista sp.).
