Pesenko in Banaszak (1995) states that this is an oligolectic species, specialising in Brassicaceae

Tomozei (2014), citing others, states that females forage on a range of species, such as Aegopodium podagraria (Apiaceae); Taraxacum, Inula, Xeranthemum, Cirsium pannonicum (Asteraceae); Berteroa incana, Erucastrum armoracioides, Sysimbrium loeselii, S. polymorphum, S. altissimum, Sinapis arvensis, Raphanus, Sisymbrium orientale (Brassicaceae); Trifolium, Robinia pseudoacacia (Fabaceae); Salvia nemorosa (Lamiaceae); Lythrum salicaria (Lythraceae) and Reseda lutea (Resedaceae) (Osytshnjuk 1977, Dylewska 1987).
