Mesolectic: Visiting mainly Asteraceae and Apiaceae.
Mavroumoustakis (1930) states that on Rhodos, the species is common at Apiaceae (as Umbelliferae). He also lists (Mavromoustakis, 1948; 1951; 1952) Calendula persica (Asteraceae); Ammi majus, Ferula communis, Tordylium syriacum, Scandix pecten-veneris, Petroselinum sativum and Foeniculum piperitum (Apiaceae) as forage sources on Cyprus.
Pesenko in Banaszak (1995) states that this is an oligolectic species, specialising in Brassicaceae
