Ceratina (Euceratina) callosa (FABRICIUS, 1794)

Presumed to be polylectic: Because the species has not been recorded in large numbers, flower records are few. However, Terzo et al (2000) noted that they were restricted to two families: Asteraceae: Carduus sp., Centaurea calcitrapa, C. solstitialis, Onopordum sp.; Lamiaceae: Calamintha sp., Lavandula angustifolia , Lavandula multifida.

In Spain, Espeso & Gayubo (1988) found it on Ruta sp. (Rutaceae) and Convolvulus arvensis (Convolvulaceae), and Gayubo et al. (1989) on Echium sp.(Boraginaceae).
